2BAIT, Task 2, Journal 9
It's Friday and Task 2 is due today. Nathaniel isn't at school today so i'll have to email him all my finished work incase he needs any of it. In form today i borowed my friends USB but he wanted a deposit so i gave him my iPod cable (i was using my iPod as a USB), then in class i realised that my work was on the iPod and i had no way of getting it onto the computer. At lunch i'll go and get my cable from my friend and go to the library and finish this assignment. Since i can't show my work in class because the other segment is on the iPod and Nathaniel's not here, i'll have to show it to some friends at lunch and get them to fill out the survey. Then all i have to do is insert an automatic table of contents, write up an analysis on the survey results, paste this journal into my assignment, and email this work to Mr. Phillips and Nathaniel. Yesterday Nathaniel sent me the Project Timeline so i printed it out and wrote out the ammendments we made. Some of my journals where too big to have two per page in the assigment to i added page breaks.

2BAIT, Task 2, Journal 8
It's Monday night and i just finished re-editing my segments. At school today i tried to save my 'top ten tackles' segment but again it came up with the error message. I put every needed file on my USB and took it home to re-edit both the segments. I created the ending credits and since we didn't end up filming anything a lot of the titles are useless - in the end i just put 'Directed + Written By' and 'Produced By' - so the credits only go for a few seconds, which is a good thing. Nathaniel wasn't at school today so Tomorrow if he's at school we can add my segments to his. Now that we've finished here are all the final changes to the storyboard:
1) There are only 3 segments - Top Ten Tackles in Time, Top 5 Fights, Top Ten Worst Sports Accidents in History. Shaun McManus retirement video/AFL match preview was scrapped because it was too hard to find the videos on the Internet.
2) We didn't film any intros to the segments as sport show host because we ran out of time.
3) End credits only consist of 'Directed + Written By' and 'Produced By' .

2BAIT, Task 2, Journal 7
Mr Phillips gave us an extension until Tuesday because we've come across allot of problems. On Friday i brought my ipod in to use as a USB with my sporting injuries pictures and videos on it. After i finished my segment on sporting injuries i tried to save the file as a movie document but at 99% a message said 'could not locate original files'; Nathaniel was having the same problem and couldn't find a solution. I decided I'd have t re-edit my segment - which would take an another hour or so. I backed up all the videos and pictures onto my ipod to take home and re-edit. When i was at home i forgot to add the number titles so i tried to re-do them, but after searching for 10 minutes for the right font i gave up. I re-edited the video - on Monday i can get the number titles and bring them back to my PC. I haven't tried saving my other segment into a movie file yet so on Monday ill do that, and if i get the message again ill have to re-do it Monday night.

2BAIT, Task 2, Journal 6
It's Thursday night and I'm working on finishing my segment. I realize that Nathaniel and I won’t be able to finish by tomorrow. Instead of filming our introductions for our segments I guess we will just have to put some title screens. Nathaniel has finished his top 5 fights segment and I have finished the top ten tackles segment, but am still working on the top 10 sporting injuries. For my segment on top ten sports injuries i made a title screen saying "warning...the following images may offend some viewers", (red font on a yellow and black striped background) because the segment features various bones being snapped in half. I've tried working on the segment in the school library at lunch but i can't access what i had already completed because in windows movie maker you have to have the videos used for the project present. At home i created the warning title and downloaded, converted, imported and edited 10 sporting injuries to put into the segment tomorrow at school. I have lost my thumb drive so ill email the videos to myself and access them at school. Tommorow Nathaniel and I will add the segments and submit them.

2BAIT, Task 2, Journal 5
Today Nathaniel and I discovered that the computers in our AIT room now recognize the real player videos I downloaded a week ago – I think they are working because of the new codec’s. I also found that real player was installed on my computer but not Nathaniel’s but when I clicked on real player nothing happened. Nathaniel and I went to the library to download some videos on real player because the quality is really good. When Nathaniel was trying to download videos an error came up saying ‘unable to download video’ so we swapped computers so he could download some videos on my account to his thumb drive. One of the problems I encountered was that we are unable to watch videos on youtube – which is stupid -, I needed to use youtube because no AFL videos were on the other sites e.g. daily motion etc because they are more American based. I remembered someone saved to the U: drive a list of proxy websites so I went through the list until I found a working proxy.
